Under the New Covenant God says He will be our God, and we will be His people. (Hebrews 8:10) Whenever God said that phrase in the Old Testament, it was related to a miraculous intervention on His part. If the people heard that statement, they knew they could expect supernatural signs and wonders directly from God Himself. How much more today under the New Covenant should we expect God’s supernatural intervention for His children?
If you are sick, hear God say to you, “I am your Healer.”
“By His stripes you WERE healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)
If you are suffering financially, hear God say to you, “I am your Provision”
“For you know the GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.” (2 Corinthians 8:9)
If you are lacking peace in your life, hear God say to you, “I am your everlasting Peace.”
“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (Matthew 14:27)
