God demonstrated His love by sending Jesus to die for us while we were still sinners. We are redeemed from the curse and free from condemnation. The Holy Spirit testifies of our righteousness and reminds us of our identity in Christ. When we fall, God desires us to focus on Jesus and experience His love. This understanding of our righteousness enables us to hear the Holy Spirit’s voice of love and acceptance.
