To the woman He said: “I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; in pain you shall bring forth children; your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.” (Genesis 3:16)1
All the afflictions of women are wrapped up in that scripture, aren’t they? But hallelujah:
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.” (Galatians 3:13)
If you are a woman, ask God what it means in your life that He has redeemed you from the curse on women and how it’s possible to live the curse-free life in childbirth, motherhood, and marriage. God sent Jesus to give us the abundant supernatural life of peace and provision! Don’t just accept the curse and listen to the world’s assessments and solutions. God has something better in store for us because Jesus has reclaimed us and ransomed us from the curse by His precious blood!
